Ready for Adventure? A Vision

By the Spirit I saw a beautiful landscape, a field of wheat blowing in the wind framed by scattered trees all around it. In the middle of the field was a wide cavern about fifteen feet deep and in the center of
the cavern was a smaller pool of water. The water in the pool was churning rapidly like a pot of boiling water. As I watched it, I saw a woman crawl out of it and sit at the pool's edge. She was wet from being in the
pool and I wondered if she waited there to dry, but it seemed more like she was gathering her strength as being in the pool had fatigued her.
As I looked again at the pool, I saw there were many more people in the
water as it turned relentlessly without stopping, and I felt certain as it churned with such force that no one could survive being in it. It was then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, "This is an acceleration
pool. I have placed many in it and they are rapidly changed by it. They are those who use to be immature believers, but are being made mature at a rapidly accelerated rate."
It was then I turned and saw the
Lord behind me sitting with His back against a near by tree at the cavern's edge, waiting for others to emerge from the acceleration pool. Along side Him stood a great steed who was obviously not waiting as patiently as
the Lord was. He stomped his feet on the ground and snorted into the air, and was excited for something and anticipated its happening very soon.
I watched the Lord as He watched the woman who had emerged from
the pool and seeing her now entering the field of wheat, He mounted His steed. As He did, I saw He was covered in clinging children all over His body. They were on His chest and back, head and shoulders, legs, feet and
ankles. He did not act as if there was anything abnormal about their clinging to Him, but went about His business with them in tow and they seemed to love being with Him and apart of Him.
I marveled at them, and the
Lord took notice of it and answered my thoughts, saying, "These are those who cling to the Word! I am the Word. When you cling to IT, you cling to Me. Indeed, you go where I go, doing with Me what I do, and experience
with Me what I have experienced."
He smiled at my interest in the children as He rode over to where the woman had entered the field. As He approached her the heavens opened all around Him, and He pulled out
from His tunic a tan canvas bag. And responding as though it were a joyful, yet ordinary matter, the heavens rained down gold, filling the bag. After collecting the gold from heaven, He gave it to the woman. She seemed
overjoyed by it, but was even more in awe of Jesus and stood looking at Him, stunned and very happy.
After delivering the gold to her, the Lord asked the amazed woman, "Do you want to go on adventures
with Me?"
As she answered "Yes!" of course with the utmost excitement, the Lord reached down and grabbing her hand, pulled her up onto His horse, saying, "You are ready now! We will have many
adventures together!" And they rode off.
